My father told me that he had shells coming down all around him in WW2. He had machine gun fire going right over his head in the Hurtgen Forest? But he didn't have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He was a Combat Medic.
See what I am getting at? Are there statistics as to the rate of ptsd and Wars? Have they increased since ww2?
Looks like 5% for WW2
30% for N Korea
15.2% for Vietnam
Afghanistan 18%
Iraq 20%
Looks like the rate has gone up after the end of WW2 when LSD was researched.
